| Nitralloy Grapples - are made from a special alloy that is ion nitrided to provide much greater hardness and a superior gripping capability. Wall Hook Guide - If the fish is positioned in a washed out section of the hole, it may be impossible to engage the top of the fish using a conventional overshot guide. A wall hook guide can be used to capture the neck of the fish, centralize it, then properly guide the fish into the bowl. Oversized Guide - When the hole size is considerably larger than the diameter of the fish, there may be sufficient room for the overshot to pass alongside of the fish without engaging it. In this case, an oversized guide can be used to assure fish engagement and to properly guide the fish into the overshot. Extension Subs - When the upper portion of the fish is damaged or otherwise cannot be engaged, an extension sub can be used to allow the overshot to be lowered further over the fish to assure proper engagement and pack-off. The extension sub is assembled between the top sub and the bowl, and is available in lengths from 24 to 60 inches. Overshot Milling Shoe - Used in place of the standard guide, the overshot milling shoe allows the top of the fish to be milled clean. This removes excessive burring or jagged edges and assures proper grapple engagement and pack-off. Overshot Mill Extension - is used with the standard guide. It is assembled between the bowl and guide and, like the overshot milling shoe, allows the top of the fish to be milled clean. Hollow Mill Container - provides a means to dress the fish and recover the fish with a standard Overshot in one trip. The Hollow Mill container is located between the Overshot Bowl and Standard Guide. Mill Insert - dressed with Tungsten Carbide to the desired milling diameter, is placed inside the lowermost section of the Hollow Mill Container and is secured in place by the Standard Guide. This will allow for the fish to be dressed prior to entering the Overshot for recovery. Lock Rings - A lock ring assembly can be used to prevent unscrewing of the top sub from the bowl during left-hand rotation of the fishing string. Lock rings come in pairs and are assembled between the top sub and the bowl. Spacer Rings - When selecting a spiral grapple and type A packer, the spacer ring must be used with the lock ring assembly to keep the type A packer in the correct position.    |
